Classic Green Smoothie

Can't beat a classic green smoothie! This was made with spinach, frozen banana, avocado, manuka honey and almond milk. Manuka honey is great to be used as a natural sweetener but also for its antibacterial properties! Start adding it into your smoothies or tea to keep the immune system in check as the cooler seasons kick in! And of course spinach is a super food being full of vitamins and minerals-especially vitamins K, A, C and iron. Leafy greens are important to include in your diet as they alkalise the body and hold anti-inflammatory and anti-cancerous properties. So go on and make a green smoothie or add some greens to your meals! Your body will thank you for it!
