Chia pumpkin pie pudding

Today's creation was our Pumpkin Pie and Chia seed pudding!

This would have to be one of the tastiest desserts we've made. This dessert is very healthy too, as it contains no refined sugar and it's full of protein as well as nutrients from the chia seeds! Chia seeds are high in fibre, protein and healthy fats, yet they are very low in calories. The seeds also contain Calcium, Manganese, Magnesium and Phosphorous. We love using super-foods whenever possible to nourish our bodies!

Recipe:

•1 cup almond milk (or milk of choice)
•1 cup steamed pumpkin
•2 scoops vanilla protein, we use Inline Nutrition's protein.
•1 tsp peanut butter
•1 tsp cinnamon
•pinch of salt
•1/2 cup chia seeds

Simply blend all ingredients except the chia seeds. Pour into a jar with the chia seeds and shake to mix (or mix chia seeds in a bowl with the pumpkin mix).

Leave to set in the fridge for a couple of hours or overnight.

This serves 2-3.

We highly recommend making this if you're a pumpkin pie fan!
