Berry chia jam

Berries from the farmers market this morning gave the perfect opportunity to make berry chia jam.

This is a healthy, sugar-free alternative to regular jam which can be full of added sugar.

Also, the berries and chia seeds provide so many nutritional benefits. I've used boysenberries here which are high in vitamins C and K and are a rich source of natural antioxidants.
The chia seeds have multiple benefits including a source of protein, dietary fibre and nutrients such as calcium and magnesium-just to name a few!

All you need to do is mash your berries of choice with chia seeds!
This jam here was made with half a punnet of berries and 1 tablespoon of whole chia seeds.
